Deepak Sapra, Director Ejecutivo de IFA y Servicios, habló con ANI news el 17 de mayo de 2021 y explicó que la 2 DG es un fármaco antiviral que se administra por vía oral y únicamente con receta médica para pacientes hospitalizados con COVID-19 en condiciones moderadas a graves como terapia adyuvante (complementaria) junto con las normas de cuidado existentes.
